I’m Mohammad Sedarat, a marine scientist and Ph.D. student in the Jennifer Smith Lab at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. My journey started with white abalone restoration, which was my first experience in protecting endangered species. Today, I focus on habitat conservation and restoration science, specifically studying the impact of climate change on kelp forests.
